Oh. Dear. I've completely neglected my poor lil' blog for far too long. I have a good reason though... I went back to work on June 15th and have been putting in 12 hour days, which sadly leaves me no time to play "Etsy vintage", but gladly leaves me with enough $ to make it through another harsh Nova Scotia winter, ie. WOOD. Lots of it. I also bought a new truck, oh yes I did! It's a vintage Chevy Blazer 4X4, built like a brick and fully capable of getting me out of even the worst possible snow situations this coming winter. I have named him Lil' Slugger.
In other news, I have been spending weekends selling my herbs (basil, parsley, thyme, oregano etc...) at my local Farmer's Markets. I have been growing them from seed in adorable vintage pots and planters, and they sell like hot cakes! I also have been selling my vintage fabric scrap packs and fabric art. This all keeps me very busy! So there you go, hence the lull in blogging.
Not sure when this job will end but though I'd check in, maybe soon I can spend more time playing with vintage.... soon I hope!
xoxo DDV
